G&G GPM1911 40th Anniversary Warhorse Edition

This G&G GPM1911 40^th Anniversary Warhorse Edition features a special design, in honour of the Chinese Year of the Horse and the 40^th anniversary of G&G itself. The replica is based on the Colt 1911, just like the standard edition of the GPM1911 by G&G.

On the decorated slide the phrase ‘G&G 40^th Anniversary’ can be read on one side, with ‘Year of Horse’ on the other side. The wooden grip panels are also decorated: on the panel side, ‘40^th Anniversary’ and ‘since 1986’ are engraved. The right panel features an engraved horse, with a Chinese proverb at the top. Roughly translated, it means that ‘success follows the arrival of the horse’, which is used to wish someone a swift victory or good fortune. The replica is shipped in a wooden case, including seven dummy cartridges.

The replica is functionally identical to the G&G GPM1911. This means a working slide stop, magazine release and safety lever. The grip safety also functions exactly like it does on the real Colt 1911. Additionally, it is equipped with an adjustable hop-up and the BBs are propelled by gas. This gas also provides for the recoil simulation (blowback).
