Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3x Magnifier - SOP

This Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3x – SOP magnifier comes supplied with a mount, that you can use to easily mount it onto a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. The magnifier is made of impact-resistant 6061 T6 aluminium with a black anodized coating. It’s shock-proof and it provides a rather clear image. The fully multi-coated lenses contribute greatly to that clarity and they prevent glares. The objective has a diameter of 22 mm and the Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3x – SOP magnifier has a field of view of 14.9 metres at a distance of 91.4 metres. It has a comfortable eye relief of 69 mm and it has a magnification of three times.

Along with the magnifier, you will get a SCTM-17 30 mm mount. That’s a so-called flip-to-side mount with a folding mechanism, which allows you to easily move the magnifier to the side. You’ll have to press the button located on the mount to unlock it, after which you can simply move the magnifier to the side with your free hand. This provides complete control over when you want to use the magnification, without having to remove the entire mount.

You will want to mount the Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3x – SOP magnifier behind your red dot. It’s not essential that you get the red dot in the centre exactly, but it can absolutely contribute to a positive shooting experience. That’s why there’s a rotary knob on the side and one on top for windage adjustment and elevation adjustment respectively. The rotary knobs are covered with caps and you can actually use those caps to adjust the knobs. That’s because there’s a protuberance in the middle of the caps, that connects to the groove on the rotary knobs. You can also use a coin or screwdriver to adjust them.
