Muzzle Brake Precision Armament Hypertap Ti

The Hypertap Ti muzzle brake from Precision Armament achieves a very high recoil reduction. Thanks to its titanium construction it achieves a recoil reduction of up to 80 percent, while reducing weight by 45 percent compared to the standard Hypertap.

Mounting is straightforward thanks to the timing nut, making shims unnecessary for the installation of the muzzle brake. After mounting, the three baffles are facing in a horizontal direction on both sides, at a backwards angle of 35 degrees. This angle ensures that potential debris that is propelled from the muzzle brake does not hit the shooter.

On the top of the muzzle brake, four ports are located. These ports need to be pointed directly upwards when mounting the muzzle device. By allowing some of the gasses that are propelling the projectile to vent upwards, the barrel is pushed down. This reduces muzzle climb when firing the rifle. Thanks to its design, the Precision Armament Hypertap Ti muzzle brake achieves a recoil reduction of up to 80 percent. Owing to its titanium body, the muzzle device is also very lightweight: it weighs just 77 grams, while delivering almost the same recoil reduction as the standard Hypertap.
