Piston Prometheus Hard Next Gen2

The Prometheus Hard Next Gen2 piston has been specially developed for use in NGRS (Next Gen Recoil Shock) airsoft replicas from Tokyo Marui.

The recoil system that is used in these replicas results in more stress and force being exerted on the internal parts. During the development of this piston, Prometheus took this into account and came up with a sturdy and robust design.

The first four teeth of this Prometheus Hard Next Gen2 piston are made of metal, so that the places where the most force is applied have extra reinforcement. The rest of the piston, along with the remaining teeth, is made of polyacetal copolymer. This material is stiff, has excellent dimensional stability and offers low friction.

The use of these materials contribute to a longer life of this part in NGRS airsoft replicas.
