This SOG Adventurer LB Nordic Blue pocket knife has a simple yet effective back lock. The result is a highly reliable pocket knife which is also incredibly lightweight. It offers an excellent value for money and the pocket knife can be used for various purposes.
The blade is made of 5CR15MOV steel, which has a decent hardness of 54 HRC. That hardness means the steel is hard enough to maintain its cutting edge for a long time, while also being soft enough to sharpen with ease. The steel has good stain- and corrosion resistance and it has excellent wear resistance thanks to the titanium nitride finish.
The grip on this SOG Adventurer LB Nordic Blue pocket knife consists of two GRN (glass-reinforced nylon) scales which are rather lightweight while boasting a good hardness. They can take a hit and are perfectly suited for rough work. GRN has an inherent resistance to moisture, which also makes the pocket knife suitable for outdoor use.
