This Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3 MOA red dot has a housing that is made of sturdy, impact-resistant 6061 aluminium that can take a hit. It has an IPX4 waterproof rating. This means it is splash proof, so it won’t get damaged if it is mildly sprayed with water. The red dot can be perfectly used in a variety of different situations.

The red dot has a dot size of 3 MOA so you can easily see it and find it. It has no less than eleven brightness levels and the two lowest levels are suited for use with a night vision scope or night vision goggles. You can easily switch between brightness levels by using the large turret on the left side of the housing. That turret features clearly numbered markings, so you know exactly what brightness level you’re on. The Maverick red dot is powered by a powerful CR2032 battery.

The Vector Optics Maverick Gen III 3 MOA red dot can be mounted very easily, thanks to the quick-detach mounting base. You will have to adjust the elevation and windage properly to shoot with any form of accuracy. This can easily be done by using the elevation turret and the windage turret, which both have a total adjustment range of 60 MOA with an adjustment of 1 MOA per audible click. The limitless eye relief ensures the red dot is very user-friendly.
