Umarex T4E TP50 Compact Gen2

The Umarex T4E TP 50 Compact Gen2 is a compact, but very impressive air pistol from Umarex’s Home Defence range. It’s a big bore, CO₂-powered pistol, perfectly suitable for home and personal defence.

The second generation is now equipped with the Quick-Piercing System 2.0, which allows the 8-gram CO₂ capsule to be inserted without being activated immediately. Activating it is done by a light tap on the bottom of the grip, which causes the Quick-Piercing screw to perforate the CO₂ capsule. To provide a better grip, the Gen 2 now features a rougher texture on the sides of the grip.

By folding away the trigger guard, the internal magazine of this Umarex T4E TP 50 Compact Gen2 can be loaded with four .50 bullets. As it has an 8 grams CO₂ cartridge, there’s no need for cocking. You can continue firing until the magazine is empty. With one CO₂ cartridge, you can fire 8 bullets. This means one cartridge can handle two magazine loads. A convenient pressure indicator lets you know if there’s still enough pressure.

Having a total length of 183 mm, the Umarex T4E TP 50 Compact Gen2 is -indeed- very compact. The home defence pistol has a lightweight and impact-proof polymer body, keeping the weight low with just 585 grams. The dual-action trigger features a trigger safety built into the trigger blade and the TP 50 Compact Gen2 has fixed open sights.
