Walther KK500 Pronetec

The Walther KK500 series consists of worldclass rifles, further expanded with the Pronetec. Its intended use-case is apparent from the name: competition shooting from the prone position.

As a series, the Walther KK500 is a marked improvement on the Walther KK300 series of rifles. The KK500 is designed for the shooters on a national and international level, to the smallest details. This is visible, for example, in the meticulously adjustable stock and equally adjustable cheek rest, which can be adjusted to the preferences of any shooter. The ergonomically shaped pistol grip is also adjustable in angle, height and can be canted and rotated.

This degree of customisation of the Walther KK500 Pronetec is equally present in the mechanical aspects of the rifle. The trigger is fully adjustable in trigger pull, length of pull and the position of the trigger blade. It can also function both as a single-stage and two-stage trigger. The trigger pull can be precisely adjusted between 50 and 130 grams.

An extremely inventive element of the rifle is the possibility to change bolt to either side without any tools. This switches the side where the bolt is operated, which allows the rifle to be fired both left- and right-handed. As a result, the shooter can use the other arm to load a round into the rifle, for example. This way, the effect that loading the rifle has on the shooting posture can be minimised. This is further compounded by the extremely short action, which also requires minimal movement of the arm and hand.
