Walther LG500 Expert

The Walther LG500 Expert is the -already very successful- redevelopment of the legendary LG400-series. This PCP air rifle is for many (Olympic) 10 metres shooters the instrument of choice. Combined with the finely adjustable mechanical trigger and the Inside-Out dioptre, there are no limits to achieving new personal bests. The trigger weight of the two-stage trigger can be adjusted from 50 to 120 grams. Besides the Inside-Out diopter, the LG500 Expert has been equipped with a Centra Score front sight holder.

Anyone who grabs the Carl Walther brochure, will notice a vast array of abbreviations for the multiple innovations that make this 10 metres air rifle the champion that it is. Below, we’ll give you an overview, complete with a clear explanation:

Stability & Response System (SRS)
Walther has done a lot to give the Walther LG500 Expert an unmatched stability. Integrated damping mechanisms (Adaptive Inline Impulse Equaliser and pneumatic damper) keep recoil and muzzle rise to the absolute minimum. The smooth and virtually vibration free loading mechanism add to this virtue.

Walther Balancing System (WBS)
The Walther LG500 Expert can be finetuned with 90 grams balance weights on the forend and buttstock to suit your preferences. Both the length of pull and the height of the cheekpiece can be adjusted with a stepless geared mechanism. The shoulder piece is also fully adjustable, completely stepless, in height, angle and size.

Accuracy Control System (ACS)
Walther has optimised the barrel profile for this LG500, but also perfected between the barrel and system. In short: everything is perfectly matched for a maximum stability and vibration control. With this, the reliability, accuracy and repeatability have reached even higher levels.

Walther itec System Bedding (ITEC)
With a larger surface area between barrel and stock, stress is minimised. The clamping system has lateral and elevation adjustment. The new bedding system will provide more feel between stock, barrel and action by having them act together better as a whole. Reducing vibrations is also an important factor here.
