AGN Technology Vulcan 3 500 BPS

The Vulcan 3 500 BPS by AGN Technology is the third make in the Vulcan series. This generation is available in 500 and 700 versions, which differ in barrel length and air capacity. Both feature some neat upgrades that greatly improve the shooting experience. 

The V3 has improved strongly regarding air capacity, the external and internal air cylinder, together, double the overall air capacity in retrospect to earlier generations. Another convenient add-on is the fact that the internal air cylinder has been split up into two separate divisions, separated by the regulator. This enables the internal air cylinder to be reversed, which enables the user to choose from the large plenum, for powerful shots, or the smaller plenum, for less powerful shots. 

Its enhanced BPS stock now comes with a buttpad that has been elevated slightly, providing a more comfortable shooting position, and the monoblock has been produced as one piece, including the Weaver/Picatinny rail, which now slopes with 20 MOA, which is very convenient for long distance shooting. Another neat add-on is that after the Weaver/Picatinny rail is removed, the side lever can be installed to both sides of the air rifle. 

The sound moderator of the Vulcan 3 has been enlarged and improved, the larger internal volume enables it to suppress the muzzle sound even more. More sound dampening can be accomplished with the option to attach an additional moderator to the muzzle. Decompressing has been simplified as well, unscrewing the designated screw in the forend bleeds the air effortlessly. Furthermore, the forend features a Weaver/Picatinny rail for attachment of a bipod or other accessories, this rail can be detached easily by undoing just two screws.

AGN’s well-thought-out design of the magazines proves itself because it does not need review, the magazines of earlier generation Vulcans remain useable for the Vulcan 3.
