Anschutz 1781 D G Classic

The Anschutz 1781 D G Classic is a new bolt action rifle with a beautiful walnut stock. The exceptionally smooth action permits rapid and reliable functioning. The one-piece firing pin has a defined end stop area to prevent damage from dry firing. Lock up is made by a two-row, six-lug bolt (2x3) directly to the barrel; allowing a quick, short 60° bolt throw.

The matt black anodized receiver, made of high-strength aluminum alloy, incorporates the Anschutz Wave Style and is drilled and tapped for mounting telescopic sights. The cocking mechanism has gas vent holes which, in the event of cartridge failure, direct the gas safely to the side. The sliding safety catch on the right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position. The ergonomically designed safety catch is easily and silently operated. The integrated bolt handle lock reliably prevents inadvertent opening of the bolt when carrying the firearm.

The Match trigger, which has been successfully used in many Anschutz Target rifles, is a fully adjustable, single stage trigger. The hardened and finely polished trigger parts, along with the low part weight insure a crisp, repeatable trigger pull. The barrel is M15x1 threaded.
