DNT NVMD-C200 Standard Multi-Purpose Night Vision Scope

The DNT NVMD-C200 standard multi-purpose night vision scope combines multiple functionalities in one optic. It can function as a digital scope, clip-on night vision scope, flip-up magnifier and action camera.

Digital scope with day and night functionality

As a digital scope, the NVMD-C200 offers multiple possibilities. The magnification can be adjusted in steps from 1x to 6x, while the focus and dioptre ensure the image is as clear as possible. The style and colour of the reticle can be changed through the settings. Different imaging modes can also be set.

• Full colour: Suitable for daytime use, displays colours accurately.
• Black-and-white: suitable for nighttime use, improves contrast.
• White phosphor: a digital effect intended for nighttime use, which mimics the colour scheme of analogue white phosphor night vision.
• Green phosphor: intended for nighttime use, this is a digital effect displaying the colour scheme of analogue green phosphor night vision.

Depending on the situation certain imaging modes can provide better contrast, improving target visibility.

Clip-on night vision scope

By mounting the DNT NVMD-C200 standard multi-purpose night vision scope in front of an optic, it can function as a clip-on night vision scope. The advantage of this method is that it can be mounted and removed easily, depending on whether night vision is necessary or not.

Flip-up magnifier

Thanks to its modest dimensions and a flip-up mount from DNT it can function as a flip-up magnifier. The magnification can be adjusted in six steps as well. Furthermore, the night vision mode can be switched on, providing advantages of a clip-on night vision scope. This offers great flexibility, both in daylight and low-light conditions.

Action camera

Using different modes, imagery can be saved to the 32 GB internal memory. Audio is also recorded as standard on these videos. There are three different modes with which recordings can be made. If the memory becomes full when using any of the three modes, the oldest recordings are deleted to make space for the new recording.

• Standard recording: start the recording by pressing the ‘Record’ button. It can be stopped by pressing the same button again. After 10 minutes the recording is automatically stopped.
• ‘Loop recording’: this enables shorter recordings of a set duration. Once the previously set time duration has been reached, the recordings are saved and a new recording is started automatically. This continues until the function is switched off.
• ‘Recoil activated video’: this function saves a recording when a recoil impulse is measured. The recording covers 10 seconds before the shot is fired until 10 seconds after firing. This mode works best with recoil impulses that are heavier than .22 LR.
