This MTC Optics Viper Connect 4-16x32 AMD2 rifle scope has a compact design and it features a minimal eye relief of only 17 mm. Keep in mind that an eye relief of 17 mm means this rifle scope is solely suited for rifles with little to no recoil, such as PCP-rifles and .22 rimfire rifles. That eye relief provides an exceptionally wide field-of-view of 20.3 metres at a distance of 91.44 metres at minimal magnification. At maximum magnification, the field-of-view is 5.2 metres at a distance of 91.44 metres. It has an objective with a diameter of 32 mm, which allows you to mount the rifle scope closely to the barrel.

Aiming is done with the AMD2 reticle featured in this MTC Optics Viper Connect 4-16x32 AMD2 rifle scope. It’s located on the second focal plane, meaning it will keep its original size at all times, regardless of the magnification you’ve set it at. That reticle has an illuminated dot and you can choose between no less than eleven brightness levels, so you can clearly see the dot in nearly every lighting situation. You can easily switch between the different brightness levels by rotating the turret on top of the 30 mm tube. That turret also houses the battery compartment for the CR2032 battery that powers the illuminated reticle.

The elevation- and windage turrets have a maximum adjustment range of 120 MOA and each rotation represents 12 MOA, with each click representing an adjustment of 0.25 MOA. Those turrets are covered with caps, so you can’t accidentally adjust them. There’s an angle-indicator located on the left side of the tube, which allows you to check the angle of the rifle scope. There’s a second turret located on the left side of the turret and it can be used to adjust the parallax from 10 yards (9.14 metres) to infinity.
