Shooting Rest Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3

The Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3 is a shooting rest with a very strong and durable construction. Its frame is extremely rigid, which makes it strong enough to be used with the heaviest calibres. The innovative design of the frame makes it possible to adjust the length of the rest by 6” (15 cm) by means of a sliding mechanism. This gives enough space to fit nearly any size gun on the Lead Sled DFT 3.

The front support is easily adjustable in height by means of a big adjustment wheel. Lateral adjustment is also possible using a smaller rotating knob. Weatherproof rubber on the front rest protects the rifle against damage. The shock absorbing pad on the rear rest protects the stock of the gun, as well as minimising felt recoil. Also, the height of the rear shooting rest is adjustable by rotating the wheel underneath the rest.

It is possible to add weight up to 100 lbs (45 kg) on the weight tray for maximum stability. This tray is compatible with the Lead Sled weight reservoirs, but other forms of weight can also be used. The adjustability of the weight tray makes sure the weights are tightly clamped in. The result is a reduction of recoil up to 95%, which maximises shot accuracy.
