Thermal Imaging Camera HikMicro OWL OQ35

The HikMicro OWL OQ35 is a handheld monocular thermal imaging camera with very useful specifications. It’s able to work under temperatures as low as -30°C and the housing is dust-free, while also being able to withstand being dipped into water, all conform the IP67 norm.

As for the other specifications: its CV is quite impressive. The Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) for example, is as low as ≤35 mK. The NETD number shows you how small the difference in temperature are that can be detected and displayed. The lower the NETD, the more detailed the image. And as the HikMicro OWL OQ35 thermal imaging camera also features a manual focus, the image can be lifted to an impressive clearness.

Your detection range is a staggering 1235 metres, meaning the HikMicro OWL OQ35 thermal imaging camera enables you to identify an 1.7 metres high object at that distance. The field of view is 17.7°x14.2° and you can switch between four magnifications, them being: 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x.

An internal memory of 16 GB lets you store screenshots and videos, which you can download through the USB port or by means of data transfer through Wi-Fi to your smartphone. The Wi-Fi also lets you use your smartphone as a secondary screen. The rechargeable lithium battery offers an operating time of up to five and a half hours, that you can extend even further by using the standby mode.

The thermal radiation is detected with a 640x512 17 µm sensor, after which it’s converted into a thermal image that’s displayed on the 0.39” 1024x368 OLED screen with a framerate of 50 Hz, making for a flicker-free image. There are four display modes: white hot, black hot, red hot and fusion.
