Thermal Imaging Camera HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PCR

This HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PCR thermal imaging camera is a clip-on for a scope. It can easily be mounted onto a scope and it has a weight -without the battery- of only 538 grams. The camera is compatible with a wide range of adapters, thanks to the M52 x 0.75 thread. It has a 384x288 thermal sensor and the pixel pitch is 12 µm. Because of the impressively low NETD of less than 20 mK, this camera shows highly detailed thermal images. Those images are displayed on the 1024x768 (0.39-inch) OLED display, with a framerate of 50 Hz. There is a knob on top of the camera that you can use to adjust its focus. The thermal sensor has a detection range of 1800 metres which makes it possible to spot differences in temperature, even over long distances.

The thermal imaging camera can be used to take pictures and capture videos. You can do so manually by using the buttons on top of the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PCR thermal imaging camera or you can use the recoil-activated recording to do it for you. With this function, a short video with audio is made each and every time the trigger is pulled. The thermal imaging camera has an eMMC (embedded multimedia card) with a storage capacity of 16 GB and the pictures and videos you capture will also be sent to your smartphone. Provided you have the HikMicro Sight app.

The HikMicro Sight app can be downloaded for free, ensuring you are fully connected to your HikMicro device. After configuration you can use the app to adjust the settings of the thermal imaging camera and you can use it to see your pictures and videos.

This HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PCR thermal imaging camera features a Li-ion battery. The camera can run continuously for 6,5 hours on a full charge. If your battery runs out, you can easily recharge or exchange it. The standby-mode will ensure the battery will last as long as possible. You can put the thermal imaging camera in standby-mode and reactive it, by using the buttons on top. There are a total of five buttons, with the following functionality:

On/off-button:
• Short press: Activate and deactivate the standby-mode.
• Hold it: On/off.

Mode-button:
• Short press: Switch between colour modes (white hot, black hot, red hot, fusion).

Capture/Record-button:
• Short press: Take a picture.
• Hold it: Start/stop recording a video.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Move the cursor up.

Menu-button:
• Short press: Go to the quick menu.
• Hold it: Go to the main menu or exit the menu.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Confirm your selection.

Display-button:
• Short press: Show or hide detailed information onscreen.
• Functionality in the (quick) menu: Move the cursor down. 

The housing of the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PCR thermal imaging camera ensures it can withstand recoil and that it is waterproof. It has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means the thermal imaging camera is completely dustproof and that it can be submerged one metre for 30 minutes.
