Product description

This HikMicro Thunder 2.0 TH35P thermal imaging rifle scope has a standard magnification of 2.14x and it has a detection range of 1800 metres. This makes it possible to spot your target at a long distance. As soon as the target is within range, you can manually activate the camera to capture the shot or you can let the thermal imaging rifle scope do that itself. It has a recoil-activated recording function, which means the rifle scope will make a short recording as soon as it detects the recoil of your shot. This means you’ll end up with short clips of each time you pulled the trigger. If you shoot your rifle twice in quick succession, the two clips will be merged. This results in a longer battery life and better management of the built-in storage capacity of the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 TH35P thermal imaging rifle scope.

This rifle scope uses a chargeable Li-ion battery, allowing it to stay on for 6,5 continuous hours on a full charge. The battery can be removed or replaced by opening the battery compartment, which is accessible from the left side of the thermal imaging rifle scope. The HikMicro Thunder 2.0 TH35P thermal imaging rifle scope has an eMMC (embedded multimedia card) with a storage capacity of 16 GB. Downloading the free HikMicro Sight app will allow you to send all pictures and clips to your phone by using the hotspot function. It's also possible to adjust the settings of your thermal imaging rifle scope through the Sight app.

By cleverly coupling multiple functions to each of the five buttons on top of the rifle scope, you can easily adjust it in the field. Nearly every button can be pressed once or be pressed continuously to activate one of two functions. There are a total of five buttons, with the following functionality:
• On/off-button: Pressing the button once will put the thermal imaging rifle scope on standby or wake it up. Holding the button will turn it on or off.
• Mode-button: Pressing the button will allow you to switch between the four different colour modes (white hot, black hot, red hot, fusion).
• Capture/record-button: Pressing the button once will allow you to take a picture. Holding the button will start a video-recording -with audio- or to stop recording. If you’re in the rifle scope’s menu, you can use this button to move the cursor up.
• Menu-button: Pressing this button once will allow you to access the quick-menu. Holding it will send you to the main menu. If you’re already in one of these two menus, you’ll be able to confirm your selection by pressing the button once. Holding the button while you’re in the menu, will close the menu.
• Digital zoom-button: Press the button once to switch between the different digital zoom levels (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x). Holding the button will activate the Picture-in-Picture mode. If you’re in one of the menus, you can use this button to move the cursor down.

This HikMicro Thunder 2.0 TH35P thermal imaging rifle scope features a 384x288 thermal detector with a pixel pitch of 12 µm. The framerate of 50 Hz guarantees a nice and smooth image, presented on a 1024x768 (0.39-inch) OLED display. The NETD (the thermal sensitivity of the thermal imaging rifle scope) is less than 20 mK, which means the rifle scope will detect even the smallest changes in temperature and accurately represents them. There’s a focus ring on top of the rifle scope, that allows you to manually adjust the focus. The rifle scope’s eyepiece has an eye relief of 45 mm and the diopter can be adjusted between -5 to +5. Other functions are measuring the distance to the target and adjusting the colour of the reticle. Depending on the chosen colour mode, the reticle might change colours to ensure it will remain visible.

The thermal imaging rifle scope has an IP67 waterproof rating. This means the rifle scope can be submerged one meter for a maximum of 30 minutes. Additionally, the housing ensures the rifle scope can withstand recoil.
