Product description

The HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Zoom TQ60Z thermal imaging rifle scope is one of the first to use a dual FOV. That dual FOV is the result of dual lenses, which causes the image to magnify optically without losing out on sharpness. There’s an FOV switch ring at the front of the Thunder 2.0 Zoom TH50Z thermal imaging rifle scope that you can use to easily switch between the 25 mm mode and the 50 mm mode. By doing this, you’ll also alter your FOV and magnification range. Below you’ll find a brief summary:
25 mm objective
• Magnification: 1.8-14.6x
• Field-of-view: 21.9x17.6 metre at 100 metres
• Detection range: 1800 metres
50 mm objective
• Magnification: 3.1-25.0x
• Field-of-view: 12.8x10.2 metre at 100 metres
• Detection range: 3000 metres

This HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Zoom TQ60Z thermal imaging rifle scope features a thermal module with a sensor resolution of 640x512 pixels. It has a pixel pitch of only 12 µm, so the pixels are very close to one another which results in a detailed image. The NETD of less than 20 mK ensures even the smallest differences in temperature are detected and displayed on the 1024x768p OLED-display. That display has a refresh rate of no less than 50 Hz, which allows for smoothly flowing images that can easily be tracked.

The thermal imaging rifle scope features several colour modes, such as black hot, white hot, red hot and fusion, which allows you to observe however you prefer. It also has a PIP-mode that enables you to get nice and close to the target without sacrificing overview. This Thunder 2.0 Zoom TQ60Z thermal imaging rifle scope by HikMicro has a fully adjustable reticle. You can choose what type of reticle you’d prefer to use and you can set the colour to form the biggest possible contrast with whatever it is you’re observing and the chosen colour mode. You can save multiple reticle profiles so you can easily switch between them depending on the situation. The eye relief of 45 mm ensures you can maintain a safe distance to the eye piece.

Aside from using the thermal imaging rifle scope to observe, you can also use it to take pictures or record videos. All pictures and videos are stored in the built-in 16 GB memory, but they can also be shared with the HikMicro Sight app. Doing so will grant immediate access to your footage through your smartphone, so you can easily take another look later on. You can simply take pictures and record videos by using the buttons on top of the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Zoom TQ60Z thermal imaging rifle scope. Below, you’ll find an overview of the buttons and their functionality:

With that many options and power, surely the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Zoom TQ60Z thermal imaging rifle scope must have an impressive power source. And it certainly does. It features a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a battery life of 10.5 hours. So you can easily bring the thermal imaging rifle scope along for the day. There’s a Type-C USB-connection on the left side of the magnesium housing that you can use to charge the device or to connect it to something like your computer to transfer pictures and videos. The HikMicro thermal imaging rifle scope has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it’s dust- and dirtproof and that it can be submerged to a depth of one metre for a maximum of 30 minutes.
