Tripod BOG DeathGrip Infinite XT Carbon

The BOG DeathGrip Infinite XT tripod features carbon legs, which make it relatively lightweight. It is also equipped with a ball joint, which is attached to the adjustable central post with an Arca-Swiss mount.

This tripod is an altered version of the DeathGrip Infinite tripod, with the difference being the centre post on the XT. Thanks to the centre post, the tripod can not only be adjusted in height with a single twist of the twist locks, it can also reach a greater height. The centre post measures a length of 25 centimetres, which allows the tripod to read a height of 183 centimetres. A hook is attached to the bottom of the centre post, to which weight can be attached to keep the tripod in place.

At the top of the centre post, a ball joint is featured with the DeathGrip clamp on top. This clamp is mounted using an Arca-Swiss rail, which also enables use of the tripod for a spotting scope or camera, for example. The ball joint offers optimal mobility, with which targets can be tracked easily.

The BOG DeathGrip Infinite XT tripod offers a high degree of flexibility, thanks to the different angles at which the legs can be folded. Each leg can be unfolded in an angle of 20, 45 and 85 degrees, resulting in a height that can vary from 51 to 183 centimetres. A rubber grip on one of the legs provides grip on the tripod when adjusting and shooting, but it can also be used to carry the tripod more comfortably.

When folded, the tripod can be tied together using a rubber strap. This way, the legs do not produce any noise and cannot unfold while carrying the tripod. Each leg features two twist locks, with which the height of the legs can be adjusted. Rubber feet are attached to the bottom of the legs. In the middle of these feet, a steel point is stored inside, with the point pointing upwards. By screwing these points loose, inverting them and fastening them again, the tripod can be adjusted to the terrain in order to provide more grip.
